What We Believe
Brighton Informed exists to promote and encourage the health and well being of the Town of Brighton through economic development. We believe that well-thought out plans and quality development should be encouraged and welcomed in our town. Our goal is to provide information and facts that enable the citizens of the Town of Brighton to make sound and sensible decisions regarding economic development projects that will affect the future health and vitality of our community.
What We Do
Provide Brighton residents with nonpartisan, uncomplicated, factual information about proposed economic development projects for the Town of Brighton —information that may not always be readily available or easily accessible.
Provide a forum and a voice for residents who have valid concerns or want to support development projects that may benefit Brighton.
Advocate proactively for the elimination or mitigation of any potential negative impacts of economic development, helping to negotiate wherever possible solutions that benefit the town and the developer.
Counter misinformation or incomplete information that may be circulated by those who oppose economic development in general, or who oppose specific projects, that Brighton Informed views as highly beneficial to the Town of Brighton.
Present to officials the consensus opinions and positions of Brighton Informed in regard to fiscal responsibility, economic development and other topics and issues that directly affect the future well being and economic health of the Brighton community. |
