Everyone Benefits! The financial gains to the Town of Brighton and the Greater Rochester Area, as a direct result of the Clinton Crossing Corporate and Lifestyle Center, are significant.
The current cost to educate one child in the Town of Brighton School District is $11,000 per year. The property taxes generated by this development will educate 351 children for free over the next ten years.
Other revenues include $303,052 per year in fire and ambulance revenue; $3,600,000 per year in annual retail sales revenue; and $1,307,767 in county tax revenue. In addition, it is estimated that more than 2,000 jobs will be created, including approximately 1,300 for construction. All salaries and wages, in turn, contribute to the economic health of not only Brighton but of the entire local economy.
